On average, our pets are considered "senior" at 7 years of age.
We provide many services especially for your senior pet. Labwork, the key to seeing what's going on inside your pet is a great place to start. We offer Geriatric Profiles for all ages, but especially our older patients. These tests include a full chemistry panel, complete blood count, urinalysis, and thyroid level. Included in the canine panel is also a heartworm check. For our feline patients we also include a Feline leukemia test and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) test. Grouping these tests together allows us to offer them at a fraction of the cost of individual testing.
We offer Hill's Science Diet in life stage formulas. A senior diet is available in dry or canned, dog or cat food. We also carry vitamin supplements for any age dog.
We have state of the art radiology services for efficient diagnosis. Every subject receives two different views for an accurate diagnoses. You are guaranteed crisp, readable films. In some cases physical restraint is not enough for a clear view and chemical restraint i.e. tranquilization, is necessary. Please call us for fees.
With routine cleanings and at home care your pet's teeth can last his whole life. We offer Ultrasonic Dental Prophies. Services included are: Anesthesia, Ultrasonic cleaning, Polishing and pulling loose or decayed teeth. Nail trims, expressing anal glands, and cleaning ears are all complimentary when services are provided.
